A little background information:
-I have an iPhone 4 that is currently jailbroken on iOS 6.1.2.
-I have the latest version of iTunes installed.
-This problem started happening once I began adding custom ringtones to my iTunes library to sync to my iPhone.
-I only have one iTunes library on my Mac (and only one Mac).

Whenever I connect my iPhone to my Mac via USB or WiFi and view the "Music", "Books", "Tones", "Movies", and "iTunes U" tabs that sync with my iPhone, all of the boxes are unchecked, signaling to sync nothing from that certain tab.

NOTE: "Apps", "TV Shows", and "Photos" still have the boxes checked that I manually checked when I first set up my iPhone last week.

Whenever I check a box under "Music", "Books", "Tones", "Movies", or "iTunes U", I get the message: "Are you sure you want to remove existing music, movies, TV shows, books, and tones from this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library?" with the dialogue "Music, movies, TV shows, books, and tones synced to “[my name]'s iPhone 4” from other iTunes libraries will be removed and items will be synced from this iTunes library." underneath it. I have two options: "Cancel" and "Remove and Sync".

Of course, if I click "Remove and Sync", while checking the boxes under "Music", "Books", "Tones", "Movies", and "iTunes U", designating what I want to sync, iTunes sync it correctly. There are two problems with this, however: First of all, the sync take about 10 minutes to complete, because there is a lot of data for it to "put on" the iPhone (even though it's already there). Secondly, this occurs each time I plug the iPhone in - regardless of whether or not I clicked "Remove and Sync" the previous time.

Even when I do this, only 3 of the 7 ringtones I have sync. They are all in the same .m4r format.

However, if I connect my iPhone and don't mess with any tabs, the iPhone syncs as normal (takes a bit longer actually - but not that full 10 minutes as stated above), but doesn't add anything new (such as the ringtones, which are in the correct .m4r format). All of my data is still there.

Does anybody know what is going on, and how to fix this? Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks for any help! :apple:
