Hi All

I am trying to move my iTunes library from one machine to another.

I have copied across all the music from machine to the other, think I have done that bit correctly.

The machine that the music was copied onto does not see any of it.

Anybody offer any help with this please ?

You must also copy the library database file and point iTunes to it.

simply connect the two Macs with a firewire cable, boot the source Mac in
Target Disk Mode and drag the entire iTunes folder (not just the iTunes music folder) from <MacintoshHD>/users/<yourname>/music on the source to <MacintoshHD>/users/<yourname>/music on the target, overwriting the iTunes folder in place there.

launching iTunes on the other machine will take you to the exact same library you were used to.
