I just installed panther on my machine and though I have all my music intact, all of my source/playlists are gone! I still have the old library from os9 backed up but I can't seem to import it.

Is there any way that I can recover my old song/play lists in the new version of iTunes/panther?

did you copy all of it

all of the itunes directory that your music was in, including the xml file. Move all the music to the itunes folder. open itunes and under File there is Import. Import that xml file, and hopefully your playlists will come back. If you didn't save that xml file, I would have to say sorry, can't get them back. Start a new.
