Interesting. Looks like it's using the old artist+name and song+name method.

I wonder if that method will eventually fail, since Apple's using a new (WebObjects-based, I assume) system...
 
From extension author: Yes, thanks for noting this. I'm keeping my eye on whether or not this linking method expires or needs to change - if so, will update the extension and alert anyone on mailing list. So far so good on both Mac and Win. I hope they don't drop support, as many folks have been using this method and it would probably be in Apple's best interest to maintain this archive of weblinks. Also, technically this extension does a "Search" as opposed to creating what Apple refers to as a "deep link" directly to a song. So the + string will result in the search controls showing at the top of iTunes, whereas the Apple iTMS Link Maker http://www.apple.com/itunes/linkmaker/ links are more intelligent and uses the real album navigation interface, but a bit more laborious to use. I thought this was a quick and fun way to go proprietary to DW...
