I got a strange iTunes problem two days ago.

I have had my iTunes account for years, and the login username was my (very old) e-mail address.

However, I tried to login to iTunes a couple of days ago to find that it said my password is incorrect.

I thought it was just a glitch, but after many attempts, it still says that my password is incorrect (I have been very careful to make sure I input it correctly).

I telephoned Apple support, and they told me that they don't offer support for iTunes, and I have to request a password reset via the Apple site, however there only appears to be two ways of doing this.

1. Send an e-mail to my registered e-mail address, but I no longer have this e-mail address as I have changed ISPs (quite a few times) since, so I cannot get the reset e-mail.

2. Input your date of birth. However, it doesn't recognise it, and says it is incorrect.

Is that it. Is my account done for?

Is there anything else I can do?

Bit of a nuisance really, as I have (had?) about £50 of credit on my account, plus I have about 10 apps to update, but can't as the updates won't accept the password, obviously.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks.
