I thought I would post this just in case anyone else ends up with a similar problem.

I have an AppleID which I have had for a long time and recently I have converted to Mac from windows and purchased my iMac at the Apple Store in person (not over the internet)

I obtained discount through my company under the Employee Purchase Program (EPP), small discount but nonetheless... better in my pocket!

When I had finished my purchase the sales guy asked me if I would like to be emailed a duplicate invoice for my records. I agreed to that and gave my company email address... to close the loop on the EPP

Since making my purchase I tried to log in to the App Store on my iPhone but I constantly received an error message saying my password was incorrect! I panicked thinking I had been hacked, but, it would appear that as I instructed the sales guy in store to email me my Apple ID changed to that email address from my previous AppleID automatically!

I mention this as I am sure others may hit the same problem.

Apologies if this is a duplicate post, I do hope it helps someone )
