iTunes lost tv programmes

I purchased about five or six TV Programmes from iTunes a few days ago. My harddrive failed today and i had to partion it and reformat it. Once i had installed OSx, i had ovbiously lost all my data, so is there a way to redownload these TV programmes from iTunes or don't Apple allow this?.

Write Apple. Explain your situation. They may be able to help you.

I received a response within less than an hour of asking them to deauthorize all of my computers (I had already used the once-per-year function a few months back). They were happy to help.

I haven't actually been in the same situation as you but I have heard of cases where Apple helped out.
