iTunes match album art problem

I have iTunes match. Since starting it, I have changes some tracks album art. iCloud keeps switching the new art back to the old art (the art the track had at the time all my stuff was backed up to the iCloud). Does anyone have a method of changing album art that prevents this revert to old art? I guess a method that when you update your iTunes album art, it also updates the iCloud album art is what I am looking for.
