Hey I have been using iTunes Match for a yearish now (had the beta) and I was wondering why Apple now forces us to delete our entire library of music just to enable iTunes Match? I do not want to download 10 GIGS of music just to get be able to use iTunes Matches services by allowing me to download new songs that I upload. Is this a bug or what?

Not really sure about bug but iOS6 on my iPod 4th gen iPod purged my entire iTunes matching downloads. only music left was songs purchased on the devices. I lost 20GB's.

that happened to me, which lead me to this question.

Did the storage actually free up or became invisible? Do you now have 20GB free when you go the usage settings?

This didnt really happen to me without other bug, but iTunes match among others ignored the downloaded songs but not delete them... I was able to revive the old downloads by looking them up when connected to itunes on computer...
