itunes match/restore problem

I recently purchased itunes match and after taking 2 days to download my music library, it wouldn't download on my iphone 5. It would just say no content and take me to the playlist section. I looked online and found this solution http://appletoolbox.com/2012/09/ios-6-itunes-match-not-working-fix/ which worked, but after I followed the instructions iTunes wanted me to restore my iphone. And it would only give me the option to restore from the setting of my ipod touch from a month ago. I've been using icloud to backup my iphone so it didn't have a back up in itunes. I restored my iphone with an icloud backup, but it still asking me to restore in itunes. I don't know what I should do. My iphone is working fine, but whenever I plug it into itunes it just brings up the restore menu, and i really don't want to restore from my ipod touch settings because they're old and I don't want to lose anything. Help?
