I have a Smart Playlist of all new music added within the past 60 days. Like most other people iTunes Match has decided to ignore smart playlist rules which means that "60 days" means "add an extra 800 random songs" when viewed on my iPhone and iPad.

Problem is solved if I just create a static playlist and manually add new songs. So until Apple fixes the problem, I'm hoping there's a way to use Automator to sort of automate the process.

I have a workflow that looks for the latest music and adds them to the static playlist. What I need help with is figuring out how to trigger the workflow automatically when new music is added to my library. Any ideas?
