Apple seems to be deploying iTunes Match into international music stores this evening, though there seem to be some ongoing glitches that suggests they could be an early mistake or a partial roll out.

Several readers in the UK and Australia have noticed that iTunes Match is now a sign up option in their iTunes Account information page. Apple has not yet started promoting iTunes Match in the iTunes Store, but the links to iTunes Match are live with localized pricing (see above).

In the UK, iTunes Match costs £21.99 for a year and EUR24.99 in other parts of Europe. Users are allowed to sign up for it and receive a confirmation email of their purchase but one Twitter report claims it "does nothing" at this stage. For Australian customers, the service is priced at A$ 34.99.

To see if it appears available in your country, log into your iTunes account on your Mac or PC and then tap on your account name to see your account information. From there, you may be able to sign up, though we'd advise some caution as it seems the service isn't fully operational at the time of this writing. Alternatively, you can also try this direct link that opens the page directly in iTunes.

iTunes Match is Apple's music service offers users the ability to match their existing iTunes library with high quality versions in Apple's iCloud. The service originally launched in the U.S. and recently expanded to Brazil.

Thanks Colin

Update: It appears the launch may have been premature. Apple is refunding early buyers and claims it is not available outside of Brazil and the U.S. at the moment.

iTunes Match in Canadian store

iTunes Match is now showing on the Canadian iTunes Store for $27.99 annually. Will be trying it out forthwith!

Fingers crossed... :)

**Update: Clicked on "Purchase", entered my password and immediately got a receipt from Apple. I had to go into my iTunes Store account settings to "Add this computer" for iTunes Match to appear in the side column. Here we go...

**Update2: After adding my computer for iTunes Match to be activated, iTunes tries to connect to the Store and I'm given an error and that I should try to sign out and then in again (which I've done to no avail.) My account does state that I'm now subscribed to Match however with an auto-renew set for Dec. 14th, 2012. Guess there are still a few kinks to work out...

Just subscribed in the UK store, i asked me to sign out and back in and then it appeared in my account information saying Match will renew on 14th December 2012.

The iTunes Match tab in the sidebar gives a message about Genus being turned on and how to create playlists, nothing else showing yet.

Same here in AU.

X2 - exactly the same here (UK also). Have also received an auto-generated email confirming the subscription.

Didn't get it in German store, tried direct link and it failed.

I got the email too.

I just quit and restarted iTunes and Match has disappeared from the sidebar, though the auto-subscripton date is still showing in my account details.

keeps telling me to sign in again :(

although i dont have the option to purchase, only to add the computer.

I wasn't bothered about Match before, but now I'm quite tempted. I'll wait til it starts working proper tho.

So what about dodgy downloaded songs? I've got some (20 or so) I got when I was a poor student, that I never got round to buying since, will these get included? If so, will I get busted for them?

I had $30 in store credit, it gobbled it up in Canada but keeps telling me to sign in again. I guess it's just overloaded right now but SO glad to see Canada get this!

Available in Spain

It's available in Spain for 24.99 €.
However, it isn't working yet.
It seems SGAE has been defeated.

Yep, I'm the same as everyone else. I guess I'll just keep looking on here until people confirm it's working. So keen to get it going. I even made an iTunes Match smart playlist when it was released in America for this day.

Same here. :-(
I hope they will activate it for Germany as well.

Since restarting iTunes I have an empty cloud icon next to each song I own. But no iTunes match in the sidebar/menus at all =(
