I signed up for iTunes Match, however I am a little bit confused how you can tell your music is up in the cloud?? I'm also a little confused as to what iTunes Match really does (I know it sounds stupid I bought it and don't know how it fully works) but any explanation would be great. Thanks!

In iTunes, it will show the little cloud icon by your music.

For more details, see Apple's iTunes Match page.

It's really a simple service, there's no much to it. Takes what you on your computer and makes available to any of your idevices that you allow to access the cloud. Pretty much it. Let's say you have 13K songs in iTunes, all of that would put in the cloud (so to speak, some uploaded/match, no need to get into specifics). When it's up in the cloud, it's basically your entire iTunes library following you around, where ever you go and pull stuff out off using any of idevices. Capische?

Code:
iTunes/MBP------>iCloud------->iDevice(x)
                   |
                   |
                   |
             iDevice (x)

etc, etc, etc,....
