Hello,

So I just got a new iP5 64GB ATT and have unlimited data (5GB throttled). I have over 5000 songs on my macbook pro retina and want them on my iPhone, but only certain ones. It would take me forever to check each individual song... so, if I used itunes match, my only concern is that I would need an internet connection whereever i am to listen to music. Is this true? WOuld that kill the battery?

Just create a playlist on your macbook of the songs you want on your iphone, then download that playlist on your iphone while connected to wifi. If you scroll down to the end of the playlist on the phone, there's a icloud button that will download all.

This is what I did. I was able to save money (pay for more years of iTunes Match) by getting the 16GB version and just keep around 500 MB worth of music on the phone.

This is after I have iTunes Match?
