I tried to let iTunes organize my music, but now I have a really unorganized collection. My music is on a NAS. Currently, I have an iTunes/Music, an iTunes/Media/, and an iTunes/Media/Music folder all of which have music. The majority of the music is in the iTunes/Media/Music folder. How do I consolidate my music so it is actually organized?

Ensure that the media location in Preferences>Advanced reflects where you want ALL of your music to be copied to, then File>Library>Consolidate Library.

Note that if you already have some music in />Folder where i want music, you will have the current messy contents PLUS a copy of your entire library, but nicely organized.
