Hey everyone! Recently I've been having this problem with iTunes, I think since the second-to-last update. (7.1.9?) Anyway, this error causes iTunes to randomly mess up the artist tag by tripling the listed artist. Here is an example:
It is completely random which songs get messed up as importing a group of 10 songs may cause the 4th and 9th songs to mess up one time and the 2nd and 8th the next time. No matter how many times I delete the library and re-import, this still seems to happen, despite the tags being correct on the un-imported files themselves. Even if I go through and fix all 800+ messed up songs, iTunes still messes them up when it updates my library. Does anyone have a clue as to what's going on? Thanks so much for your help and advice!
