So I got an Apple TV 4k today. Set it up and moved the "old" one to the bedroom. Both went through the Apple TV update. After it was done, I tested out the movie "Oblivion" with Tom Cruise.

The English language track is gone! I can select French or Spanish, but the drop down only shows those languages and not English. Same on iTunes on my Mac. I am in the US.

Contacted Apple via chat and the person basically said "what can I do about it?'

Has anyone else seen this in this or another movie? I can't believe its just this movie.

Oh yes and I saw it a couple of months ago and Tom Cruise was speaking English then, so its a recent glitch.

Very strange.

Dude have you tried looking for it in the iTunes store? What languages are listed?
Apple will refund your purchase price without question if that will help and maybe you can try to buy it again in a months time etc.

I notice that it's a 2013 film and now is 4K Dolby Vision. Must be since the file was updated. Never heard of this before. My only problem I had was 'Notting Hill' were the sound was slightly out of sync - lips moving before sound. I couldn't stand it and in the end I asked for a refund which Apple did. Takes about 7 days to get the refund into your bank though. Rather naughtily, this film was promoted on iTunes yesterday as one of their Christmas daily offers for £2.99. Bit bad advertising a faulty film UNLESS they've updated the file. I'd love to rebuy it but don't want to risk it.
