I store my movies in itunes on an external drive connected to an airport extreme. The external HDD is LaCie 1TB.
I get a "stutter" (for lack of better description) every minute and a half to two minutes during playback; very annoying. I am not sure if this affects anything but I increased streaming buffer size to large under advanced options with no positive effect.
