iTunes movie question

Is there any way to get itunes to not make a copy of my movies when I paste them into the movie window in itunes? I like to have that available for my music, but not my movies. Is there any way to have both?

I don't recall which one it is, but holding down Alt or Cmd while dragging movies will create a link from iTunes pointing to the original location, without copying them to your iTunes folder.
