I had a problem with my mac. So, I took it to the Genius Bar and restored my computer. They had to do this because my Mac wouldn't turn on what so ever. All my documents, downloads are stored in my HDD but I haven't back-up iTunes contents. Previously, I had this problem. So, I requested a refund for all the movies that had problems. I don't have a second chance. I can't request a refund. Please Help!!!

Sorry to say, but you must recognize that this is your fault right? You leave your computer with a Genius and sign a form that states that they're not responsible for your data and that you should back up.

While I think that iTunes should be a cloud service where all video should be stored on iTunes servers and streamed when you want to watch it, right now that's not how it works.

If you lost a bunch of DVDs through your own fault, would you expect the store you bought them at to replace them?

Sorry you lost all your movies...
