I've quit the itunes app, restarted my ATV 4k, but nothing seems to help. Not sure who to blame, new iOS version or iOS 12 as a whole, or Apple. I checked their services status and it was green lights across the board (or so they claim). And yes, it has internet connectivity (I'm running it wired.) HBO app for example streams stuff just fine.
All I get on my ATV though is a deep-blue empty screen, regardless of if I start itunes from the dash, or if I pick one of the sample movies shown at the top of the screen, including a movie I own. Nothing happens.
Next step will be to power cycle this thing and see if that helps...
(I'm in northern Europe btw, if this matters, or if anyone's experienced anything similar.)
[doublepost=1537995343][/doublepost]Ok, power cycling did work (mostly), not sure why it would be any different than a restart, but whatevs. Some of the items refused to load on the main itunes movies front page and instead showed grey placeholder rectangles, but at least I was able to search and buy the movie I wanted to see, and now I'm watching it.
Hopefully this is just a temporary glitch that my ATV is walking off on its own, with no further actions necessary from me...
