itunes mp3 cd burning question

I followed the steps in apple support article HT2455 to burn an MP3 cd by album name. My problem is that instead of looking like the example each album folder name has the 01,02,03 etc numbering in front of the name. (The example only shows the 01,02,03 numbering in front of the track titles within the album folders.)

Is the example picture wrong or is there a way to make the 01,02,03 numbering ONLY show up on the song files and NOT the album folder names?

I do not know if this makes a difference, but I am using a smart playlist and it is automatically being split across 3 CDs.
