There is a podcast I d/l from the internet and put into iTunes. It comes in as an MP3 under music. I tried changing it to podcast, but that didn't work.

1. Is there a way to make it a podcast?
2. If not, is there a way in iTunes to stop the mp3, listent to a song, and then start it again at the place where I left off? If it was a podcast, this would work, but since it is treated as music, it starts at the beginning if I play a new song after starting it.

Thanks.

Yes, see the "Options" tab in the info window (select the song, Cmd + i, or right click, "get infos").

Check the tickbox "Remember playback position". (or something like that).
