So...I'm working on reorganizing my iTunes library, and have around 150,000 songs. What I am trying to do is find a script or workflow that will allow me to do one of two things:

1) Remove the brackets and text from the beginning of the bracket to the end of the tag field because some of the songs don't have closing brackets

Example: "Title (xyz)"
Example: "Title (xyz"
Example: "Title [xyz]"
Example: "Title [xyz"
Result I want: "Title"

2) Remove everything within and including the brackets

Example: "Title (xyz)"
Example: "Title [xxx]"
Result I want: "Title"

I would just use a Find & Replace script but what is within the brackets is multiple variables (i.e. Featuring, live at xyz, acoustic version, demo, etc)
I really just want something that can knock it all out in one fell swoop
