Itunes - Multiple Song Selection

I am new to Macs. This is probably as much a keyboards issue as an I tunes question.

I want to highlight more than one song to drag genres to playlists.

Shift+click to get a range, Cmd+click to add individual additional tracks to your selection.

EDIT: I should point out though that you can instantly create a playlist of a given Genre by turning on the browser and dragging a genre into the sidebar. This will create a new untitled playlist with all of the songs tagged with that genre in it.

You'll be surprised at how much stuff (like shift+clicking) is the same. And, of course, Cmd+click is like Ctrl+click on Windows (since Cmd is the primary modifier key on OS X).
