why does my itunes want me to sync and erase when i want to manually drag more music onto it from another computer(itunes library)

You can only sync music with one computer, my suggestion is to use Home Share to sync your music files together in iTunes before you sync your iPhone.
Then why don't you just copy over the iTunes music folder of the other computer? It's more of a hassle, if it were possible, to sync the music between two computers on the iPhone; especially since you wouldn't be able to sync the music back to one computer.
