Hi all,

A while back I transferred all my iTunes music to an external hard drive. I now must have that connected in order for iTunes to find it's library.

What annoys me though is that when I transferred all my music, I put it in a folder and gave it it's own name, 'Music Files.' But since I have 'Keep iTunes folders organized' checked, every time I play a tune in iTunes, it moves the file into iTunes own 'Music' folder.

Basically I want all my music in ONE folder and I want it to stay there. I like the way iTunes media organizes my Podcasts, Movies, etc, into separate folders, but I can't seem to get all my music to stay in one folder. I think it has to do with the fact that I moved all my music files to another self-titled folder, but still allow iTunes to keep my files organized.

Can anyone tell me how I can get iTunes to keep all my music files in one place for good?

Thank you!
