Hi all,

I have a suspicion that over the years I have accidentally added low bit-rate music to my iTunes library.
Anyone know a simple way to find any music files with a bit-rate below a certain size/speed?
I'm using iTunes 12.

And I'd love to say 'I don't want to have to individually check ##### songs'... but I can't tell you anymore how many songs or albums are in my library with the new more efficient, no information iTunes...

Cheers

You could just make a smart playlist like this to get a list of the ones under xxx bit rate.

Go to File>New>Smart Playlist

If you right click on the column header in list view (Name Artist Album etc.), you'll get a popup menu with at least most of the old options. One of the choices is bit rate. Check it, then sort by bit rate.

In my music, go to the right side and have it show "songs"

Add a column with bitrate and then click on that bitrate to sort by size. This should show you all the songs by bitrate.
