Okay so my problem is as follows; iTunes saves a copy of whatever music is placed into it so lets say I download an album online and then I copy it into iTunes, iTunes immediately creates a copy of it. Now when I try to delete the album (not from the iTunes library); iTunes immediately tells me it can no longer locate the file.
How do I delete these original folders without iTunes telling me it can't locate the file. Because this is honestly occupying too much space on my laptop. :(

Hello,

in iTunes / Preferences / Advanced, check that "Copy files to iTunes Media Folder when adding to Library" is actually checked.

You problem suggests that it is not.
