When can we expect to see some sales figures or stats about the new itunes music store????

next keynote, steve will probably announce some huge numbers (songs purchased and users signed up, or times iTunes downloaded, or people who viewed the store-- whatever numbers are the highest)... and then we'll all applaud like maniacs :)

i agree with paul unless it does not do as well as expected and then they probably won't mntion nubmers but percentages
like 66% of all apple.com ids are not regsitered with the service.

I am up to 11.97 american dollars spent so far. How about you? Anything outrageous?

Only $10 so far. $3 on the first day and $7 on the second day. I hope that trend doesn't keep up

Seriously, though, this thing is going to do huge numbers on a "per capita" basis, if you consider that only a few million people have upgraded to 10.1.5 or higher. But then you have to consider those are also the most committed Mac users. It'll be interesting to see what kind of numbers the Windows version does when it becomes available...

There's another thread that says 275000 sales in the first 18 hours. Whether that's separate songs or albums who knows. It's probably a good bet to say they've at least reached 500,000 by today.
