Itunes no Longer wants to share music...still

For some time now I have been able to share music within the local network throught Itunes. I have recently been getting an error message that says that port 3689 has been blocked. I have already read the article that instructs one on how to enable that port, yet when I turn to that tab in the preferences, a window comes up saying that I have other firewall software up. But thats not true, I don't. The only firewall software that I have has been disabled and I even enabled the blocked port within the firewall software (Norton Personal firewall). Anyone have any suggestions? This is driving me insane! I am running Itunes 4.01, Jaguar,on an 800mhz g4. Thank you

tried Uninstalling Norton? Just a thought. Used to love Norton in os9 but in osX it seems to act like a digital spanner in the works.
