Hey everyone.
A few days ago I installed Windows 7 on my PC, thereby erasing my iTunes library. I had sort of planned for that to happen and it wasn't a big deal. I transferred my music from my iPod Touch 2g using SharePod (one of the softwares listed in this forum). It transferred very well into itunes. The problem is that now when I right click a song and go to "info" I can't edit anything! it's all greyed out! what can I do?

Yep I'm sure. I go to Library, then right click a song and click "Get Info" or whatever it says. Then I go to the "Info" tab and it shows the info but it's all grayed out and I can't edit anything.

What happens if you right click on the iTunes folder in your Music directory, and go to Properties? Are the attributes set to read-only under General? What about under the Security tab? Are you allowed to alter the data inside the folder?
