itunes not detecting iphone

hi,
i have an unlocked iphone. i have been told to use itunes 7.3 or lower versions as itunes 7.4 locks the phone. im usein 7.2.0.34 right now and it does not detect my iphone.plz giv me a solution....

iTunes version does not interfere with the unlock. And if itunes 7.2 doesn't detect your phone is because it doesn't have mobile support. Update it to the latest version.

True its updating your iPhone that will relock it.

On that note upgrade iTunes.

if the problem persists then your probably like me and sync to a mac you seldom turn off.

Turn it off and then back on.

Should be good from there.
