itunes not grouping seasons in finder??

I'm wanting to transfer some seasons that I have digitized off my macbook pro onto an external hdd and when I go into finder, it shows all episodes together. It isn't categorized by season. Is there any way to make this happen? That way I can transfer season 1 by itself then 2 and so on?
