iTunes not importing CDs

I think I’ve made a thread about this before like a year ago but my parents 24” iMac (the first gen aluminium ones) has had the same problem which is when she tried to import a CD it says ‘you cant copy (disk name) on to (HDD) because of insufficient privileges. Did all the usual checks on the music and itunes folder and everyone can read and write it, so I went to Disk Utility and verified and then repaired the permissions all was fine, verified disk and that was again all fine.
So why cant I import this CD into iTunes!
