Itunes not playing all of my transfered songs

i recently transfered my music from my old ibook to my new mac book pro. All of the songs that i donwloaded from cds came over with no problem. On the other hand, the songs that downloaded from limewire are appear in my itunes, but will not play. Here is the message that i get when i try to play the songs that i downloaded off of limewire "the song could not be used because the original file could not be found. WOuld you like to locate it?"

why didnt the files transfer over and where are the files that i need to get my music to play?

please help...thanks.
