I got my iPod Touch like a week ago, and set it up and everything.

I was running OSX 10.4.11(Tiger) up until last night.

Then I screwed some stuff up(long story) and had to use my Tiger restore discs.

Got it up and running on Tiger.

Then I went and bought Leopard tonight and installed it.

Now my iPod isn't being read by iTunes. I know the computer sees it though, because iPhoto picks it up and wants to import the 2 pictures I've saved off the web.

Any ideas?

Do you have the latest iTunes?

Another option would be to restore back to factory settings on your iPod Touch, and then set it up again using one of the stored back up's.

the cables might be odd. for some reason one day my cables just stopped working. got another one and it's fine.

Tried with 3 different cables, nope.

I can't restore back to factory settings if iTunes isn't mounting the iPod...

Just wanted to update this thread..

I just dragged my iTunes into the trash and emptied it, and reinstalled it, and all is good.

Don't know what the problem was, but I'm satisfied.
