iTunes not synching properly to 4S

Ever since iOS 5.0 (had an ipod touch 4g prior), iTunes doesn't synch properly. Some songs are just completely left off, while others are put under the wrong name (that isn't showing up in iTunes).

Let me just state that I'm verging on OCD when it comes to keeping my iTunes organized and clean, so this is driving me nuts.

Has anyone else had this problem, or know a fix?

I'm surprised, usually syncing is a synch!
Too easy.

Sounds like it has something to do with iTunes Match versions versus library versions. No?

I haven't signed up for the Match . . . yet.
