Itunes not syncing w/ Lion

[SHEESH]

I just got a refurb 27" iMac w/ Lion installed, I tried to hookup my iPhone to add new music but it won't let me drag records into the phone.

Itunes recognizes the phone and will let me change other things, just won't let me add music. Any ideas?

Try dragging your music into Music in iTunes first. Then click on iPhone on sidebar and then click on Music on top.

thanks but it didn't work, i've deauthorized all of the computers I had on file and re-authorized this new one but it's still not letting me drag any music from my iTunes library to the actual phone (iTunes and phone are all updated)

Hopefully it's something easy that I'm just not thinking of

make sure you have in iTunes in the info tab of the iPhone that it should manage music manually and try again
