Hello all,

I am new to Macs but I already love them, can't get enough. I have successfully moved my iTunes in its entirety from my old PC to an external hard drive. Everything runs perfect. My problem is that I didn't realize I couldn't sync my iPhone without the external being plugged in. This isn't good. My external stays on my desk, my MBP and iPhone travel with me.

My question to any and all of you is would it be possible to sync the phone with my MBP and maintain all of the data (maybe moving the iPhone libraries to the MBP hard drive) while also keeping everything ELSE working via external? I realize I would need to change libraries often when launching iTunes but I am willing to take the hit on that.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers!
