iTunes on iPad Laggy ?

I've notice the loading of iTunes on my iPad 2 has become really sticky and laggy for several months now. My wife iPad 3 is fine but I have to wait several seconds to navigate about when looking for purchases.

Anyone having this too ? It's currently doing me head in as the kids on the streets say

My experience is that the iTunes app and the iPod app are awful. Slow, laggy, and sometimes completely unresponsive without a reboot. iTunes Match also slows down my whole experience.

The iPod app in particular has to be one of the worst pieces of Apple code ever released.

I've never had an issue with it, I use itunes match a lot and it doesn't slow anything down, unlike my iPhone 4 which slows down to a crawl when itunes match is running

By criminy the iPod app on the iPad is an absolute travesty. I ended up using Groove which apart from the fact it works is also a fantastic music discovery app.

I'm a big Apple fan, but they do write some crap.
