iTunes on my MacBook wants me to restore my iPad running PB2

I'm running iOS PB2 on my iPhone 6S and iPad Pro...every time I try to sync my iPad since installing PB2, iTunes won't sync and instead tells me that there is an issue with my iPad and that I should restore it from the Summary tab within iTunes. Anyone else experience a similar issue? My iPhone still syncs fine. Not really a big deal because I don't use my iPad as much as my iPhone but I can't sync my iPad in the meantime. Hoping PB3 will fix the issue but until then I'm just not syncing or backing up my iPad.

Update: Since installing PB3 this issue has resolved itself.

I sync iPhone with iTunes installed on macOS Sierra just fine. Perhaps it requires the beta version iTunes to work properly.
