itunes on PC please Help

Ok, so I myself have a mac running itunes perfectly, but, my friend has a laptop w/ xp on it, and itunes is simply messed up on her computer. Besides itunes, everything on her computer runs perfectly, but Itunes take 5min to load, and when it does, the play button cant be pressed. In other words, no music. I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, tried deleting/re adding all the songs. Still it doesnt work. Does anyone have an idea of what might be wrong. O, i've also tried redownloading itunes
