Hi Guys

Recently reverted to Mavericks the other day due to Yosemite displaying 1/3 of my songs with the incorrect songs titles. Couldn't stand going into each song and correcting it as it was around 1000 tracks. This was when i used Timemachine to save all my music and put dragged and dropped the iTunes folder to where it would be on yosemite - username/music

For example it would put digits for track numbers before the title with missing album titles and making it whole mess.

So now im on Mavericks and following the same procedure (drag and drop my itunes folder from timemachine) everything is back to normal - organised itunes library.

Now ... im being very picky but i want to go back to Yosemite as i am missing the UI and Safari (Mavericks safari is ugly). Anybody got any tips to prevent this happening again? Am i not using Timemachine properly to get a proper back up for iTunes?

Update: Forgot to mentioned this happened from a fresh yosemite install (formatting HD). If i just updated to Yosemite without doing a clean install, would my itunes be the same?
