Curious, no? I can't open iTunes unless I turn airport off.

Any idea why or what to do?

Thanks

Is everybody stumped?:)

Have you tried the usual stuff?

Repair permissions.
Move the iTunes.plist file to desktop.
Reinstall iTunes.

Do any errors related to iTunes/wireless get reported in Console.app? What version of iTunes/OS X? Have you tried turning the 'Look for shared libraries' feature off?

I've never heard of this happening before. Right now, my guess is that your wireless network is misconfigured and whenever iTunes opens, it does a DNS query for something and never gets a response.

I tried the plist thing, but I'll give the others a go and get back to you. Thanks!

There is a DNS server entered (in gray, I can't delete it) that I never noticed before. Could that be part of the issue?
