I've got my OS and apps installed on an SSD, and my music library on a regular HDD. You would think that iTunes would open quickly, but it takes around 5 minutes to open. I do have a large library, but I also have a large iPhoto library and that opens immediately (though it takes a while to close, but that's another story).

Any idea of what I can do to speed up iTunes from taking so long to open?

Are you saying it takes 5 minutes of bouncing on the Dock to open or 5 mins to become usable?
