Hi,

i am behind a watchguard firewall at work and itUnes is doing something
strange.

iTUnes music sharing works. the port is open...

But I can't buy anything using itms.
I also can't buy iPhoto books... and in RETARDED apple fashion.... no error comes back...

it just "doesn't" work.

At least in Windows I could trace the error... and search using an error code. My network admin says it's only using port 80 and SSH port 443 isn't blocked.

I also can't change the country in iTunes... again no error code.

Is there any documentation as to exactly what happens when one buys an iphoto book?

Please let me know...

Do you even need a firewall?
He says he's behind a firewall at work, I don't think it's up to him. ;)

Seems weird that you aren't getting any error codes. Whenever I've tried to access things from work and can't it always tells me why. Though I've never had a problem purchasing iTunes music from work.
