I can create a playlist in iTunes on OS X. Be it smart or normal, tht doesn't matter.

Back in the day the playlists looked like this. This is playlists I have made ages ago still older versions of iTunes but still like this in the current version of iTunes.

I tried to make a new playlist now in iTunes and it looks like this.

See the difference.

My question is how do I change the way the playlist looks so I can remove the song thumbnails and mnake it look like the first top picture. Is there a way to do this?

The TLDR is:
I want a list like in the top picture, the way it used to be. But I can only make a list like the bottom picture now. Is there a way to make new lists now that look like the top picture?

After some research I have found success.
In the menus -> View -> View as - then choose what you want.

A rookie mistake by me for not knowing this. But Apple does not make it obvious. Anyway this topic can be locked now as the solution has been found.
