My iTunes are happily stored on an external drive with folders, playlists etc. how I want them

I had to do a clean re-install Leopard and now have to remind my mac where iTunes is

I think I can do this just by telling it where the folder is, but I don't think my playlists and settings will come back. Is there a clever way to get my iTunes back as it was?

Hold option down while launching iTunes. Thus will then give you the option of choosing which library file to open. Select the library file on your external and everything should be fine.

Nice one Swifaw. That way will retain my playlist structure etc.?

I'll try it out when I get home - working today :(

Thanks again
