iTunes/Panther burn

I can't seem to be able to burn from iTunes. My Firewire drive is recognized, but when i click burn it 'checks media' and doesn't ever advance. Ideas? Thanks in advance.

same thing happening to me and my que! fire wire, can't burn cd's.
